The MTUCI 1 spacecraft is equipped with such unique devices as a galactic cosmic ray detector (developed for recording and forecasting dangerous heliogeophysical phenomena in near-Earth space), air traffic monitoring equipment for studying the possibility of stable reception and collection of information from automatic dependent surveillance and broadcasting systems using an SDR receiver, and onboard equipment for emergency communication services for studying the availability of a UHF radio communication service for receiving/transmitting emergency messages.
