| Description | SOARR is a 1U CubeSat carrying AmPay, an amateur radio payload that enables ground stations beyond each other’s direct radio range to communicate while both have simultaneous visibility of the satellite. The spacecraft uses UHF for telecommands and telemetry, and S-band for payload data downlink. The amateur radio relay operates by default and is temporarily suspended during spacecraft command windows or when power constraints require it. |
