| Description | BEE-1012 is a 12U CubeSat developed by SpaceLiinTech (Republic of Korea), launched on the 5th flight of the Nuri (KSLV-II) launch vehicle. The mission observes the growth of active pharmaceutical ingredient crystals in microgravity and demonstrates AI-assisted onboard experiment operations. A key feature of the mission is in-orbit AI analysis. The onboard AI determines whether crystals have formed and identifies their growth stage, then selects the most relevant data for downlink. This approach aims to improve experiment efficiency given the limited ground-contact time available in orbit. |
