Description
Gxiba is the name of Mexico's Gxiba-1 nanosatellite, a 1U CubeSat designed to monitor and analyze volcanic ash dispersion in Mexico. Its primary purpose is to provide early warnings for volcanic activity, particularly for active volcanoes like Popocatépetl, to help alert nearby populations and protect them from potential disasters.
