RCOST-LX1 (Remote Controlled Orbital Space Telescope) is a 3U CubeSat mission developed by Harpy Aerospace in collaboration with Synergy Moon as a global non-profit space outreach initiative aimed at promoting accessible and hobby-driven space exploration. Operating in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), the satellite enables students, researchers, amateur radio operators, and space enthusiasts worldwide to interact with and communicate with a real satellite platform through Amateur Radio frequency bands including VHF, UHF, and S-Band for telemetry, tracking, command, beacon transmission, and experimental satellite communication activities. RCOST-LX1 carries multiple scientific and technology demonstration payloads including Earth and celestial imaging systems, radiation measurement instruments, radio frequency scanning payloads, spectroscopy sensors for drug stability analysis, and a terrarium module to study Indian-origin plant growth in microgravity, while supporting global educational outreach, amateur satellite operations, and collaborative space research.
