“BY70-2” is a Chinese educational satellite created by the China Center for Aerospace Science and Technology based on the standard CubeSat (2U) platform. In outer space, the spacecraft will stabilize along 3 axes. Orbit - solar-synchronous N = 500 km. In addition to the amateur radio load, the device is equipped with a miniature optical remote sensing camera and laboratory load for studying the sky and the Earth.
The principle of operation of the transponder is simple. The transmission to the satellite is in the usual analog FM mode, and the equipment on board the BY70-2 converts the signal to digital and transmits it back to Earth
