Description

"PocketQube for In-Orbit Technology Operations", the first satellite mission of the University of Luxembourg, built by masters and doctoral students.

POQUITO is host of an independent ChipSat onboard and is intended to be a modular platform for future missions. The platform is a 5x5x5 cm PocketQube (1P), while the payload is a 5x5x0.2 cm ChipSat.

Objectives: 1) Fly a PocketQube in low Earth orbit. 2) Perform the inter-satellite communication between a ChipSat and a PocketQube via LED in visible light. 3) Transmit a CW beacon to Earth to promote the Luxembourgish space activities for radio amateurs.
