Description

A 1U CubeSat mission.

  1. APRS Mission
  2. The mission will provide APRS services, including Digipeater functionality.
  3. APRS service can be activated by a command from the ground station.
  4. The maximum duration of continuous operation is 720 minutes.
  5. The frequency of operation will depend on the solar power generation condition.

  6. Camera Missions

  7. Cameras:

  8. The CubeSat has two cameras with visible angles of 14 degrees and 65 degrees, respectively.
  9. The 14-degree camera has a pixel size of 2592x1944.
  10. The 65-degree camera has a pixel size of 3280x2464.

  11. Objectives:

  12. The 14-degree camera will take photographs of sunspots on the Sun.
  13. The 65-degree camera will capture images of typhoons, volcanoes, and flooding areas on the Earth.

  14. Sun Detection Sensor:

  15. A photodiode is used as the Sun detection sensor.

  16. Image Storage:

  17. Image data taken by the two cameras will be stored in flash memory.
  18. The necessary portions of the images will be cut out for downloading.
